• Daily assignments for a 30-day online class with TenHun, and developing an acrylic painting on wood panel, Turning Adversity into Adventure. 
• Created preliminary sketches during the TenHun course that later informed future mural concepts.

2018
• Completed the intuitive painting Tranquil-a-Sea.

• Expanded my studio practice through hands-on painting workshops, creating small acrylic works on canvas and canvas board, including Windmill, Sweet Red, A Splash of Color, Lake Johnson, 13 Cane, The Brighter Side, Lies, Coming Up Daisies, Confetti, Hidden Message, Encaustic, and Colorful Reflections. 
• Created Lake Johnson plein-air painting. 
• Developed Epiphany, a 24-by-30-inch painting begun during a Luminous Painting workshop and substantially reworked through an Intuitive Painting workshop and continued studio practice. 
• Completed a five-piece series of timed abstract paintings: Becoming Unravelled, Quick Decision, Lawn Party, Abstract Geometry, and Neon Light. 
• Continued developing an intuitive painting practice with The Voices in My Head. 
• Created the 16-by-20-inch mixed-media work Altered Perceptions. 
• Explored body painting and face painting through workshops and Halloween-related projects. 
• Participated in Flora Bowley’s seven-week online course Creative Revolution, experimenting with new materials, media, and approaches to artmaking. 
• Began two additional 24-by-24-inch intuitive paintings following a two-day workshop at the Durham Art Guild. 

2016
• Began creating graphite and marker drawings on paper, followed by acrylic paintings on canvas sheets developed as concept art for a future mural.
